From the crescent moon, Lepus dropped in on the earth.

Yuji Kamosawa

WIP

Queer artist who worked from 1970s to 2008 doing cute illustrations and manga. His work predominantly features a young man named "Xie", sometimes "Xieboy", and his best friend, "Lepus Rabbit". The two of them smoke a lot of cigarettes, have peak fashion, and are definitely dating. They have been featured in various comics, illustrations, TV commercials, artbooks, and even several albums. There's also merchandise like: figures, candy, bandannas, and some toys that seemed to have been semi-popular but are hard to find now. More info can be found at the fanclub site sight below. Some evidence for Kamosawa being gay include mention of a "dating partner", Kureichi Matsuzawa (who currently handles Kamosawa's estate since his death, and runs a blog focused on sex-ed and sex positive topics), as well as his enormous aesthetic inspiration by an influential gay writer, Taruho Inagaki, and other homoerotic/homoromantic Japanese writers of the time (and the sheer gayness of Xie and Lepus is evidence enough).
